The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity

Salve dear readers! Being a new graduate is one of the biggest accomplishments you can achieve when you work and pray for it. Looking for what you will do after is another case. After graduating, I took time for myself to really know who I am and recognize what I want to do with the gift that the hand who created me gave me. But what is this gift? I thought to myself.

Well, I did personal research on myself. I woke up at night, I meditate and pray to know what I should do. Days later, I decided to buy a notebook and wrote down what I wish to accomplish in my life. Accomplishments who will help me and the people around me to make our world a better place. During the process, I notice that I sort of know how to put what I have in mind into words as long that I'm patient and constructive. It's beautiful, right? But my thoughts were immerging with pessimistic thoughts. The kind of questions that I had was like ''what if people don't like my writings or the topics I will write about?'' What if I'm boring?''

Thoughts full of pessimist's ideas. And suddenly, I felt the inspiration to write about my personal situation of the moment. And the realisation came steps by steps. I have a pen, a notebook, a laptop and (drumroll, please) I'm a public relations graduate. Do you see how pessimist my vision was? The opportunity is there but the pessimistic is in front. What I mean is that we need to live in the present and be grateful for what we have and use our gifts to help the future generation to be strong and evolve in a totally peace of mind.

So, in the domain of perspectives or opportunities, the pessimist stands out as a unique observer, one who views the world through a lens tinted with scepticism and negativity. For the pessimist, opportunities are not signal chances for growth and success but rather intimidating challenges mixed with difficulties. This mindset can significantly impact one's ability to seize and capitalize on life's various openings. In this article, we will explore why the pessimist see difficulty in every opportunity, accompanied by illustrative examples of course.

'' Instead of viewing an opportunity as a chance to achieve success, the pessimist is preoccupied with thoughts of potential failure, hindering their ability to take calculated risks.''

Example:

Someone can get a job promotion. Normally, this person is suppose to be happy 'cause job promotion can equal to more money, new level on the pyramids and new contacts to add on the agenda. No, no. Not the pessimist God. They will see in that case an opportunity to be more negative by having the fear of not meeting expectations, the pressure of responsibilities, and the potential for making mistakes. Please, calm down and leave.

Example:

Another one. Imagine an entrepreneur presented with the opportunity to launch a new product. An optimist might see this as a chance to tap into a new market, while a pessimist might be preoccupied with concerns about production challenges, marketing hurdles, and potential customer dissatisfaction. See how he/she doesn't want to chill.

Example:

An artist is offered the opportunity to showcase their work in a prestigious gallery. An optimist might see the chance to gain exposure, a pessimist might dance on the fear of criticism, lack of appreciation, and potential rejection by the art community. Honey, breathe!

Hence, staying positive is a big deal. When we constantly think negatively, it messes with our happiness, relationships, and overall satisfaction with life. So, it's crucial to avoid being too pessimistic. By looking on the bright side, we unlock our potential, deal with challenges better, and make our lives and the lives of those around us way better. In a world full of uncertainties, being optimistic is like holding onto a guiding light that leads us to better possibilities and a happier life. Let's choose to see the good stuff and kick pessimism to the curb for a more awesome journey through life!
